The Academy Elite Players
The Gecko Elite Golf Academy is seeking to attract talented young golf professionals as well as a number of low-handicap Amateurs who are preparing to turn professional in the near future.
On account of the word "elite" in our name, the selection process to join the academy will be subject to certain checks in addition to an assessment discussion. Candidates will need to convince our selection team that they possess the energy, passion and determination to succeed in the sport and also demonstrate a recent track record of improving performance on the golf course.
It is our intention to have between 8 and a maximum of 15 players enrolled in each 4-weekly cycle to ensure our Programme allows for a degree of individual coaching and attention to detail. We understand the importance of monitoring performance for the benefit of the player and consequently there are regular individual feedback sessions (as well as a formal weekly report) incorporated in the Programme.
For those players who are fortunate to join The Gecko Elite Golf Academy, we promise a Programme that will be extremely enjoyable yet very hard work.
Our team is on site to create a friendly, supportive environment which aims to create a bond between the players and to encourage a strong work ethic. We expect our players to be respectful to others and we have a zero tolerance policy towards cheating, ill discipline and disrespectful behaviour.
